Discovery Call and In-home Consultation

We will have an initial discussion over the phone to discuss your basic needs, understand your unique circumstances and clarify what you want to achieve. From there we will arrange a time for an in-home consultation.

During the in-home consultation we will refine the overall vision for your home.

Together we will

  • identify the desired purpose and function of the area/s,

  • determine your priorities, expectations, potential obstacles and set goals for the space.

Practical Session

Simplify and Streamline

The first step in any organising project is to de-clutter and downsize. Together we will pull everything out; group like-with-like, and only put back items that bring value to your life “Do I need, use, or love this?” We will provide advice, but ultimately it is your decision what to keep and what to get rid of.

Keep in mind that his step usually takes the most time and spaces will likely look worse before it gets better.

“A place for everything, and everything in its place.”

Organising ‘keep’ items into appropriate categories is an important step, and can facilitate easy navigation of your home. We will consider layout, space, function and what is suitable for your lifestyle. Adding labels makes it effortless to return items, maintain order and anyone can find items with ease. Sometimes it takes a little bit of trial and error to find systems that serve you best and that you will be able to maintain in the long term.

We may re-imagine underutilised shelving or products you already own for storage solutions and/or advise on the addition of new storage products. We try to re-use/up-cycle where possible, but any purchase of storage products should be considered as a long term investment.

Time is allocated at the end of each session for a ‘tidy up’. Items no longer needed will be disposed of or put away in other areas. We try where possible to dispose of discarded items responsibly.
